WHAT WE DO

At The Rotary Club of Kettering we are proud of our fundraising achievements which have helped to support many, particularly local, charities. Major events such as the annual Charity Dinner at Wicksteed Park are an essential part of our continual drive to maximise the amount we raise. It is through these activities that we are able to make our donations to a wide range of charities.

Annual Charity Dinner

Over the past four years we have donated more than £68,000 to 88 charities. These have included local charities such as Sailability, Cransley Hospice, various Kettering General Hospital charities and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, as well as national and international charities such as Shelterbox, Polio Plus and Parkinsons.

Find more details of our charitable contributions here.

Club members gladly give their time to projects in the local community. Their efforts are often supported by donations from our club, as well as Rotary Foundation grants. Those projects have delivered some quite amazing outcomes, resulting in improvements to facilities and lasting benefits for the recipients.

Our view is that ‘all work and no play’ never works, so we make sure that we enjoy a wide range of social activities throughout the year. Our Fellowship committee is highly active and is constantly seeking new ideas to keep us entertained !
